the cine-files

The Cine-Files is the online journal of the Department of Cinema Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design.  We intend the journal to provide a meeting ground for film lovers to share their serious reflections on the cinema. We believe that cinema – in all its eclectic forms of the past, present, and future – is both pleasurable and substantive, and we devote these pages to its passionate analysis.

The Cine-Files is edited by faculty and graduate students at Savannah College of Art and Design.  All articles are peer reviewed.  The Cine-Files is produced biannually, in Spring (a themed issue) and Fall (an open issue).
